Emily Joy Johnston is a marketing professional specializing in social media, content, and community outreach. Through her Agave Social agency, she’s partnered with authors, breweries, startups, animal rescues, advertisers, and other like-minded creatives.
Obsessed with bringing people together, Emily’s created and managed more than 400 events, built partnerships and sponsorships grossing more than $1M, and generated exponential social following growth. A yogi, photographer, hiker, gardener, cook, and traveler, Emily has lived in Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Detroit, and Flagstaff, and recently relocated to Phoenix with her husband Brian and their rescue-dog.
Emily serves on the Marketing Board for Home Fur Good animal rescue, and is co-founder of Mappy Hour – Phoenix, a network of outdoor enthusiasts in the Phoenix area.
